Irish Whiskey
All Irish whiskey must be produced on the island of Ireland from a mash of cereal grains and aged for a minimum of three years in wooden casks on the island. The final bottled product must be at least 40% ABV and can only have plain caramel coloring added, with the label also needing to specify if the whiskey is a blend.
